Computers and other strangeness
My computer at home (Amy) is starting to act up on me. Maybe it's just that stage where she disobeys me and stays out way too late without calling. In any case, I am pretty sure that I am going to have to re-install Windows. Arg. I really don't want to do this, but at this point, I am not sure what choice I have.
Basically, here's the problem: Just about every application that I run locks my machine.
- IE6: Lock
- Outlook XP: Lock
- Mozilla: Lock
- Dark Age of Camelot: Runs (Thank God ^_^), but locks occasionally.
- Easy CD-DA Extractor: Lock
- Musicmatch Jukebox (for my iPod): Runs
So, that's not "almost every", but it's still enough to piss me off something fierce. I just really don't feel like wasting 5+ hours reinstalling everything. Arg. Price I pay for using Windows I spose. Maybe I'll finally just use linux at home for everything except Dark Age.
It all started happening after I installed my Radeon 9800. That's really annoying.
