YAL (Yet another list)
- I have started back on my development project in linux. I am using the Eclipse Platform as my IDE of choice. I would have been using Emacs, but the other developer was using an IDE, so I thought it would be a good idea for everyone involved (me and him for now) to use the same one. He was using this PoS called Anjuta before. It sucked, so I decided to give Eclipse a try and it's a lot better.
- I bought some new CDs this weekend. They are:
- Oasis - Definately Maybe
- Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree
- Something Corporate - North
- I saw Episode 3 this past weekend. It wasn't bad and I actually enjoyed it. There were some parts which were definately sub-par[0], but for the most part it was a fitting end to the prequel trilogy.
- Hockey game tonight, hopefully no forfeit.
- I've been drinking a fair amount of water lately at work. I usually drink a lot of pop at work, and it has been this way for a while. Recently though, I started to play Ultimate Frisbee on the weekends, so I bought myself a Nalgene bottle to bring with for water. I started bringing it to work and I usually just fill it up in the morning and drink it throughout the day. I still have a pop during the day at some point, but I definately drink less now that I have my water handy all day[1].
- Next year's snow season can't come soon enough.
- After my humiliating loss to Ryan at Tekken 5, I have a newfound vigor to practice and beat the snot out of Ryan the next time we play. Vengence will be mine!!
- I think I may start doing Martial Arts again. I really enjoyted it when I took Kenpo and would like to start up again. I found 2 schools that I want to check out. One is a Kempo school and the other is a Capoeira school[2]. Could be fun.
[0] George Lucas couldn't write a love-scene to save his life.
[1] Although I do feel like such a preppy hauling it around, and I don't even have my trusty North Face jacket to go along with it.
[2] I took this for a little time before college and really enjoyed it. It's not as practical as traditional Martial arts, but the coolness factor is through the roof.
