Movie Review: War Of The Worlds

One word:

Weak

I don't want to give too much away, so look below for spoiler stuff.

Well, here we are, reading spoiler information...just the two of us....

Ahem...sorry.

I thought the ending was very weak, although in all fairness it's somewhat difficult for me to really believe that we could actually win against aliens which have mastered space flight when the common person has issues driving from point A to point B.

The first like hour or so was cool, but that's about it.

Definately a renter...maybe.

I have decided to boycott any and all Tom Cruise movies given his recent behavior. It's a retroactive boycott, which is unfortunate because I really liked the MI series, and Top Gun is just a great movie. But there you have it. So, no WotW for me! I enjoyed our private moment reading the spoiler info, though. *Sigh*.

I s'pose if I apply my principles consistently I will soon stop watching movies altogether. Which may be a good thing regardless. Oh well.

Ouch.

I don't know if I could make a retroactive change. I mean it's Top Gun. Classic 80's movie. That's probably the only one I'd have a problem with. If it was on TV, I'd have a really hard time not watching it. Then there's A Few Good Men, which TBS/TNT like to show often.
